Histometrical Studies of Liver Cirrhosis


Abstract
The annual physical examination 1972 was carried out for 8,973 employees in 10 organizations in Seoul by Dept. of Health Service, Hanil Hospital and following results were obtained and analyzed for three major diagnostic entities which were thought to be most important and examined with least error.
1. The prevalence rate of pulmonary tuberculosis in 8, 973 employees was 1. 1 percent in average and was remarkable lower than 4. 2 percent that of general population, Korea in 1970.
Talking about P. Electric Co., the rate (0.¢¥9%) has steadily and rapidly ¢¥reduced since 1965(4.8%). The incidence rate of male to female was 3: 2.
2 7.4 percent of total employees appeared to be *hypertensive and the prevalence even in high-teens and twenties were 1. 8 percent and 3. 8 percent respectively.
3. The audiometric test for 141 workers in intense sound field of power plants was done and eight of them showed loss greater than 40dB. with the picture of C5 dip characteristic in early stage of noise indeed hearing loss (NIHL).
